Itinerary highlights
Callubri Station
Departing from Bankstown Airport, enjoy a scenic 1hr 40min flight to Central West NSW. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to a historic 28,000-acre Merino farm nestled between Nyngan and Tottenham. Explore the original wool shed, steeped in pastoral history, and stroll through the Shearer’s Quarters—once an Officer’s Mess from WWII.
After a farm introduction over fresh coffee and homemade treats, hop aboard a safari-style troopy for a guided paddock tour. Discover native wildlife such as kangaroos, emus, and echidnas, and learn about sustainable food and fibre production in this remote landscape.
The highlight of the day is a long-table, three-course paddock-to-plate lunch, set in a charming repurposed church. With house-baked bread, regional produce, local wines, and handcrafted petite fours, the meal is a true celebration of Central West NSW cuisine. Hosts Angie and Michael Armstrong infuse every detail with their passion for farming and food, making this a standout rural dining experience.
After a leisurely afternoon, transfer back to the airstrip for your return flight to Sydney. This is more than a farm visit—it’s a deep dive into Australian heritage, agriculture, and outback hospitality.
