Meet the winemaker and grapegrower behind Lost Penny wines – a pair of sixth generation Barossans who produce a rare, yet perfect blend from the same family blocks in Ebenezer, Barossa Valley, that their family has worked since the late 1800s. A duo who absolutely adore the humble and simple life they have crafted together in this picturesque, world-famous South Australian wine region.

They feel blessed to continue what generations before them started, not only by working their land in the Barossa Valley, but also crafting small batch, estate grown and single vineyard wines. It is from this very place that the Lost Penny Wines legacy began in 2018. Their combined knowledge, passion, family heritage and dedication to preserving Barossa winemaking traditions have all been poured into Lost Penny Wines.

Nick & Carol invite you to become part of the Lost Penny story through our range of relaxed and intimate tasting experiences held by appointment on the Riebke family property.

Plus, if you’re lucky – you might spy the gleam of a lost penny yourself!
