Lyrebird Cottages, where nature works its magic.

Lyrebird Cottages, contemporary, architect-designed mud brick and timber cottages with spectacular views over the Yarra Valley.

Two cottages built to the same design and standard on ten acres of gardens and forest. Mountain air and abundant wildlife. Lyrebird Cottages are only ten minutes to the nearest vineyard and 13 minutes to Healesville shops.

The interior is mud brick and fine Australian timber. The contemporary design fills the cottage with natural light to give a feeling of warmth and peace.

The cottages have complete kitchens with separate bedroom and living areas. The bathrooms have a double spa, shower and heated towel rail. Each cottage has a queen size bed, an extra single bed can be provided on request.

There is a cosy wood fire for winter evenings and air-conditioning for heating and cooling. Stereo, television, DVDs, CDs and books are provided. There is a large attached deck with barbecue overlooking the garden. Quality linen and towels are provided. Off-street parking is next to the cottages.

Breakfast provisions are supplied for the first day of your stay. Late check out is 12.00 noon.

Smoking is only permitted outside.

Lyrebird Cottages is one hour and fifteen minutes from central Melbourne.

Silver Wattle Cottage is a separate private retreat. It has one large bedroom with queen size bed, a full kitchen and separate living areas.

The cottage has off-street parking and is surrounded by natural forest and lovely gardens.

Silver Wattle has a double spa, wood fire, air-conditioning and large attached deck from the main living area. There is seating and a barbecue on the outdoor deck.

Interior mudbrick walls and beautiful Australian timber combine to give a timeless feel to the design. The cottage is architect designed to fill with light and gather warmth from the sun. A cast iron wood fire and electric heating provide for comfort in winter.

Provisions for a cooked breakfast are provided for the first morning and provisions for a continental breakfast for the second. Late check out is until 12 midday. All towels, linen and bathrobes provided. Fully equipped kitchen.

Both Silver Wattle and Mountain Ash cottage are built to the same design and standard and they each have great views to the distance.
