Margaret River Surfing Academy is the region’s first established surf school — family-run by Simon and Asha Tien, and led by a registered paramedic and Master degree qualified mental health practitioner.
They offer full equipment hire — wetsuits, soft-top boards, and performance fibreglass surfboards — through their sister business Margaret River Surf Hire, with pickup from Gracetown or directly at their Rivermouth lesson location. MRSA students get 10% off all hire packages.

Led by Simon Tien — a registered paramedic and Master ‘s degree -qualified mental health practitioner with 30+ years on this coast — we offer beginner group lessons from $50, private and 1-on-1 coaching, performance training, school programs, and corporate wellbeing.
