Mirrabooka means ‘Southern Cross’ a fitting name for this property, as it’s in an area well-known for star-gazing with spectacular views of the Milky Way. The property is 75 acres of bush scrub, just 1.5 hours from Adelaide, and the gateway to the beautiful Riverland area. The land consists of mallee trees and saltbushs scattered, with enough privacy to find your own private nook and enjoy peace and tranquillity. Access to the River Murray is just five minutes down the road, so bring your boats, jetskis or kayaks and enjoy days spent down at the river, before retreating to basecamp for an enjoyable evening under the stars. On-site, there is enough room to ride your pushbikes with numerous tracks to explore and give you a good walk or ride. There is a pizza oven/outdoor cooking area with a small campfire. This is a communal area, shared by all campers. We have options for open camping where you choose your own site on the property, or you can book our cement slab which is conveniently close to the communal camp cooking area.
