Set against the backdrop of the Elder Range and Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges, the Arkaba Walk is an opportunity to experience the sights and sounds, the scale and space of outback Australia in a style that is exclusive and authentic. The ‘Wild Bush Luxury’ philosophy brings a team of passionate guides and some key creature comforts to an immersive bush experience.

By joining one of the fully-hosted, all-inclusive walking experiences on the private wildlife conservancy, you’re not only witnessing an environment in recovery, you’re actively participating its revival. You’ll see and hear the results of active conservation as you walk through the landscape and meet the wildlife in the company of passionate field guides.

Explore 60,000 acres of privately owned and carefully protected outback with a maximum of ten walkers.

The Arkaba Walk

The Arkaba Walk

The original Arkaba Walk is a fully hosted and expertly guided experience and includes all meals, bottomless beverages, and accommodation in the beautifully restored 1850s Arkaba Homestead on nights one and four, plus two nights swag camping at Arkaba’s signature walking camps. Guests will enjoy three full-days of guided walking (approximately 10 to 15 kilometres each day).

Up to 10 walkers are accompanied by an expert guide or guides, whose passion and knowledge of the environment will inspire and motivate their fellow walkers. Traverse the ancient Flinders Ranges where 600 million years of geological history provide spectacular backdrops throughout the walk.

This is some of the most stunning walking country in Australia.
