Mountain Valley Wilderness Holidays is an eco retreat-wildlife habitat amongst the mountains of North West Tasmania. Mountain Valley is a peaceful eco-retreat with just five log cabins on a ‘Private Nature Reserve’ where you can see wild devils.
For those interested in unique wildlife experiences. Join a Platypus tour at dusk or a glow worm grotto tour. From the comfort of your log cabin watch wild devils and quolls feeding. There are 5 log cabins.
Mountain Valley Private Nature Reserve has a Perpetual Conservation Covenant to protect the rare forest and wildlife habitat and extensive cave systems. The reserve is home to many of Tasmania’s unique wildlife including mammals and birds endemic to Tasmania.
For those interested in hiking explore deep river gorges, fern glades, ancient rainforests glacial lakes, and waterfalls. Scenic drives to close-by attractions of Leven Canyon, Gunns Plains Caves, Wings Wildlife Park, Kaydale Lodge Gardens, Local Vineyards or Cradle Mountain.
