Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is Melbourne’s closest snow, ski, board, bike and hike destination. Located two and a half hours from Victoria’s capital the Resort is open year-round.
The Snow Season at Mt Baw Baw finishes on Sept 7th 2025. From Monday Sept 8th it changes to green season activities.
Surrounded by magnificent National Park Mount Baw Baw enjoys views over Gippsland to the ocean, spectacular wildflower displays during summer and snow gum forests in winter.
Make tracks for the wild with winter activities like downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and tobogganing. They have ski in ski out accommodation, on-mountain restaurant and bars, on-mountain hire, ski lessons, a Snow Guarantee, sled dog rides and alpine dingo encounters.
