This premium small-group tour departs daily from Melbourne and blends charming towns, paddle steamer history, and relaxed wildlife encounters for a day of heritage, nature, and indulgence.
Itinerary highlights
Nagambie Lake
Our first stop of the day is at the tranquil township of Nagambie in the Goulburn Valley.
Take some time to stretch your legs, grab a coffee from the main street, and view the might Lake Nagambie in all its splendour.
Kyabram Wildlife Park
Get up close to Australia’s unique wildlife at Kyabram Fauna Park. Wander open-air enclosures and meet kangaroos, emus, koalas, reptiles, and more in a relaxed, natural setting — a true highlight for nature lovers and families alike.
Start your experience with a Ranger Talk at the Koalas, before proceeding to explore the park in tour own time.
Finished early – enjoy the treats of the on-site café as you sit and watch the cute Meerkats run about you.
Port of Echuca
Arriving in the riverside town of Echuca, you will enjoy some free time for lunch and a stroll through Echuca’s beautifully preserved historic port precinct – with plenty of boutiques, cafe’s and shops of a by-gone era.
Then, board the PS Canberra for a one-hour cruise along the iconic Murray River. Drift past heritage wharves and red gum forests aboard an authentic paddle steamer.
Rochester Silo Art
We stop in Rochester to admire its vibrant silo art — part of Victoria’s celebrated Silo Art Trail. These towering artworks bring regional history and local wildlife to life, offering the perfect photo opportunity on our journey north.
Heathcote Winery
We finish the day with a premium wine tasting at one of Heathcote’s most renowned Wineries. Sample a selection of award-winning wines while soaking in the stunning vineyard and hillside views that define this celebrated estate.
