Bakers Walking Company offers guided day walks through Narawntapu National Park on Tasmania’s north west coast, located around a 40 minute drive from Devonport. Known for its open landscapes and abundant wildlife, the park provides one of the best opportunities in Tasmania to see kangaroos, wombats and birdlife in their natural environment.
This small group experience is led by local Tasmanian guides and follows a relaxed pace, typically covering around 4 kilometres depending on the group. Walks are shaped around conditions and guest preferences, creating a flexible and more personal experience.

Bakers Walking Company
Bakers Walking Company offers private guided walking experiences on a 1,137 acre wilderness estate on Tasmania’s north west coast, beside Narawntapu National Park. The estate spans twice the size of Monaco and gives guests access to a rare network of private walking tracks far from public crowds.
Guests explore coastal wilderness shared with kangaroos, wombats, wallabies and more than 120 native species. Experiences are led by local Tasmanian guides and shaped by the pace and interests of the group, creating a more personal and immersive connection to the landscape.
Bakers Walking Company reflects a growing style of tourism that allows guests to experience the bush in a real and meaningful way, then return to warmth, comfort and thoughtful hospitality. Day walks, multi day experiences and corporate stays combine seclusion, wildlife, scenery and an off grid lodge with sauna, outdoor baths and Tasmanian produce.
