Here’s a chance to see the night sky on a clear winter night. Redlands Astronomical Society will set up viewing equipment at Wellington Point Reserve (near the Boat Ramp).

There will be a variety of telescopes to look through. Viewers will be able to see objects in the sky that are not visible without aids.

For those who have never looked through a telescope before, there are surprises in store. For others, the chance to revisit Scorpius, the Southern Cross, and other nearby constellations and star groups is always a pleasure.

Society members will happily answer questions from adults and children.

This is a free event.

Please note – As this is a totally outdoor event, it is dependent on clear dry weather.
