SA eBikes is a locally owned tourism business helping visitors experience McLaren Vale in a more personal, relaxed and memorable way.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Shayne and Rachel, SA eBikes was created around a simple idea: helping people reconnect — with each other, with nature and with the feeling of freedom that comes from exploring without rushing.

Based in McLaren Vale on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, the business offers guided and self-guided eBike and eTukTuk experiences that combine world-class food and wine, scenic cycling trails, wildlife, coastal landscapes and genuine local hospitality.

Awarded the 2026 “Best Wine Tourism Service”, SA eBikes has become known for experiences that feel welcoming, inclusive and highly personalised. Your day begins with pickup from your Adelaide accommodation before heading to Dandelion Vineyards’ Wonder Room for wine tastings and seasonal local bites overlooking sweeping vineyard and coastal views.

After a relaxed briefing, you’ll set off on an easy guided e-bike ride along quiet backroads and scenic trails through the heart of McLaren Vale. Our electric bikes make the experience comfortable and enjoyable for most fitness and experience levels.

The ride continues to Angove Family Winemakers for a long lunch featuring premium South Australian produce paired with organic wines, before a final scenic ride to Vale Taphouse at Beresford Estate. Here you can unwind with either a local beer flight or Beresford wine tasting in the warm afternoon light.

Your day begins with a seamless transfer from the heart of Adelaide, whisking you away to the rolling vines of the Fleurieu Coast in just 45 minutes.

The curated itinerary kicks off at Hugo Wines, where you’ll enjoy an award-winning wine tasting paired with a gourmet cheese platter beneath a stunning vine-covered arbor.

Following your experince at Hugo’s, you’ll be introduced to your eco-friendly e-TukTuk—a fun, open-air vehicle that allows you to soak up the sun and vineyard breezes as you glide through the region. You’ll have the option of being chauffeured or riding yourself (they are fun and easy to ride!).

You will cruise to Shottesbrooke Wines for a premium tasting that highlights the diverse character of the local soil.

For lunch, the tour stops at the iconic Pizzateca, serving authentic, wood-fired Italian fare in a vibrant garden setting.

The journey concludes at Oxenberry Farm, where you can sip fine wines while overlooking a tranquil billabong and the historic Sermon tree.
