Learn to dive
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the first exciting step in learning to scuba dive. As a diver, you’ll experience weightlessness, get up close to the fascinating marine life that our world has to offer and create memories that will last a lifetime. Breathing underwater for the first time is an unforgettable experience, so don’t put it off any longer
Prerequisites and Requirements:
Age Requirement:10 years or older.
Course Prerequisites:
Able to swim; 200 m 10 minutes treading water.
Complete a QLD Australia Medical Statement which is their online registration form time Commitment approximately 8-15 hours.
Equipment:
In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.
