An exciting private full-day tour combining local delicacies, native wildlife and natural attractions.
The program includes wine and chocolate tasting in the Swan Valley region followed by a visit (optional) to Caversham Wildlife Park, home to iconic Australian native animals: kangaroos, koalas, wombats, possums, emus, Tasmanian devils, dingos, penguins and more.
Visit the sleepy fishing town of Cervantes for lunch (own expense), famous for its delicious local fresh lobster.
Next, they drive to the Pinnacles Desert along the four-kilometre desert dirt track (weather permitting) where they will be stopping for photos and wandering among the endless pillars of limestone, immersing themselves in this mystical and surreal creation of nature.
On their way back, they will stop at the coastal town of Lancelin to experience the amazing brilliant white sand dunes. You can try sandboarding (sand boards are included) for some thrilling excitement or just enjoy a walk on the sand dunes overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Drive back to Perth enjoying the sunset.
Itinerary highlights
Sandalfords Wine Estate and Chocolate Factory
The historic Swan Valley Region is an easy 20-minute drive from Perth central business district (downtown).
First stop is at the exclusive and picturesque Sandalford Wines, established in 1840, for an exquisite wine tasting of premium award-wining wines from both the Swan Valley and the Margret River Regions.
Next is the Margaret River Chocolate Factory (Swan Valley Branch) offering an incredible and delicious chocolate selection. Tasting included.
Lobster Shack
Stop for lunch (own expenses) at the sleepy fishing town of Cervantes at the Lobster Shack for delicious local lobster with stunning ocean views.
After lunch, they stop briefly at Thirsty Point Beach for photos and to enjoy views of Cervantes and the azure waters of the Indian Ocean.
Pinnacles Desert
Pinnacles Desert, thousand of bizarre limestone formations up to 4 metres high sporadically scattered over the vast yellow, rippled sand dunes, creating a mystical and magical landscape.
Drive along the 4-kilometre desert dirt track (weather permitting) where they will be stopping for photos and wander among the endless pillars of limestone, immersing yourself at this surreal creation of nature.
Lancelin White Sand Dunes
Stop at the coastal town of Lancelin to experience the amazing brilliant white sand dunes. You can try sand boarding for some thrilling excitement (sand boards included) or just enjoy a walk on the sand dunes overlooking the Indian Ocean.
