This guided 5-hour tour transports you by coach to Darwin’s rural area, home to some of Australia’s best large tropical gardens. Darwin Gourmet Tours have exclusive access to private gardens featuring Australian native plants, bromeliads, exotic tropical fruit trees, herbs, orchids, palms, bamboo, caladiums, culinary plants, water plants, medicinal and edible flowers and plants, crotons, cordylines, and far more. Your knowledgeable local guide will also talk about local plants traditionally used by Aboriginal people. They’ll linger to take short breaks with cold drinks and tropical fruit with local flavours. And join them in tasting fruit right off the tree when in season. We also take in highlights of Darwin during a pleasant drive around town.
