Queensland Forró Festival is Brisbane’s first dedicated forró festival, bringing authentic Brazilian forró culture to Australia.
This three-day celebration marks a historic moment as the first event to bring a live forró band directly from Brazil to Brisbane, alongside international instructors specializing in traditional forró pé-de-serra.
The festival offers 18 comprehensive workshops designed for dancers of all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Attendees experience immersive social dancing sessions where forró enthusiasts from across Australia gather to connect and celebrate together.

- Lifts with enough space for people using a mobility aid to enter and turn around to use the lift buttons. Buttons are at accessible height.
