Slab Huts
Our 4-star Slab Huts offer a nostalgic journey into the past, built with traditional outback techniques to recreate the warmth of an early settler’s home. Featuring a canopied bed and authentic outback details, these huts provide a unique and cozy experience.
Each hut is equipped with modern comforts including an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, fridge, kitchenette, TV, DVD player, and a private verandah. Enjoy the convenience of free parking in an adjacent area, ensuring easy access to your stay. Take a moment to brew a cup of tea and relax on the rustic front verandah, immersing yourself in the charm of the outback.
A true highlight of your visit is the opportunity to unwind in the traditional claw-foot bath on the exclusive outdoor bath terrace, shared with guests staying in the Homestead Stables.
Homestead Stables
Our 4.5-star Homestead Stables offer a unique blend of history and modern comfort, recreating the accommodation of an outback stable-boy with luxurious touches. Discover charming outback details throughout, from the old gate bedhead to custom-made trough basins, each telling a story of the region’s heritage.
The Homestead Stables feature 9 rooms, including 8 standard rooms and 1 disability-accessible room, each designed for relaxation and convenience. All rooms come with an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, TV/DVD, and kitchen facilities, including a microwave and fridge.
A memorable experience awaits you with an indulgent soak in the traditional claw-foot bath on our exclusive outdoor bath terrace, shared with guests in the Slab Huts. Enjoy the perfect mix of comfort and character during your stay at the Homestead Stables.

Physical – Wheelchair

- Step free outdoor pathways (includes picnic areas, barbecues and shelters)
- A doorbell or intercom at an accessible height and display a contact number (accessible height is 900mm-1100 mm)
- A step free main entrance to the building and/or reception area (includes ramps or slopes with a maximum gradient of 1:14, otherwise are too steep for wheelchairs)
- Doorways which are easy to open and have lever handles (doorways 850mm or wider when open and not heavy).
- An accessible public toilet which is unlocked.
- A wheelchair accessible toilet / shower and change room is available.
- Wheelchair accessible picnic tables (picnic tables require 720mm knee clearance and 800mm maximum height).
- Portable commode chairs are available.
- Step free access to room (Entrance to the room wheelchair accessible with step free greater than 5mm or has a doorway threshold ramp not exceeding 1:8 for 450mm length).
- A lever handle on the door (easier to use).
- Enough space for a wheelchair to move around three sides of a double king sized bed (A pathway of 1200mm minimum width is required for wheelchair access).
- A wheelchair accessible bathroom (Entrance to bathroom must have step free greater than 5mm or a doorway threshold ramp not exceeding 1:8 for 450mm. Bathrooms dimensions must be no less than 2000mm X 2500mm. Have a hobless (step free) shower recess. Shower recess must have at least 1100 x 1100mm clear area for wheelchair access (no door). Have a slip resistant fold down seat or fixed seat in shower .Seat must be at least 900mm long.).
