Vine Lodge is a historic homestead on the grounds of Seppelt Winery. It has hosted many dignitaries including Mark Twain, Dame Nelly Melba and Australia’s first Governor General, Lord Hopetoun.
The property includes Bests Cottage, the original home of Joseph Best, who founded the winery in 1868. Bests Cottage was incorporated into Vine Lodge in 1900 as the kitchen, laundry and maid’s quarters.
This stay is the perfect way to immerse in history and enjoy Great Western and the Grampians.
The entire property will sleep up to 14 people across 7 rooms. Each room is appointed to maintain the historic characteristics of the magnificent Vine Lodge
Vine Lodge and Best Cottage are offered as a single property for small or large groups. The property is on the vast acreage of Seppelt Wines.
There is private parking and virtually unlimited space to enjoy the great outdoors.
