The Seven Valleys Wild Food Festival is a vibrant weekend celebration of wild flavours, local producers, and the rich food culture of the Seven Valleys region.

This the first year of the event and as part of the NSW Government’s Open Streets initiative, the festival transforms Lithgow’s Main Street into a lively, community‑focused hub showcasing the deep connections between people, place, and the natural landscape.

Across three days, visitors can enjoy a curated producers’ market, hands‑on workshops, bushfood yarning and tasting sessions, live entertainment, and dynamic cooking demonstrations on the Wild Fire Kitchen Stage. The highlight of the program is the free Wild Food Fair on Main Street, where local vendors, chefs, and food storytellers come together to create a welcoming open‑air feast for all ages.

Produced by Lithgow City Council, the festival continues to grow each year, expanding its programming, deepening partnerships with local makers and producers, and supporting the region’s thriving food culture and visitor economy.
