Sierra Escape is Mudgee’s award-winning and premiere luxury eco glamping experience, located only 20 minutes drive to the town of Mudgee. Surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, and breathtaking views, Sierra provides an opportunity to escape from busy city life and to immerse yourself in country New South Wales.
The glamping tents are Australian made from the highest quality material, well insulated for warmth in winter, and have large windows for the cooling summer breeze. Designed for comfort and luxury, reset your senses with a relaxing outdoor bath, toasting marshmallows on an open campfire or simply sit on the deck with a good book and a heavenly glass of Mudgee wine whilst the sun goes down.
Situated on over 280 acres, Sierra is home to many kangaroos, deer, native birds and many other kinds of Australian wildlife. After a day of wine tasting among Mudgee’s famous wineries, take a sunset walk up to the top of Sierra Lookout and take in the stunning surrounding landscape.

With four tents that make up our premium glamping tent collection, ideal for visitors seeking an enhanced touch of elegance and ease. Settled in a private alcove with stunning panoramas, they feature both indoor and outdoor standalone bathtubs, chic kitchens, wood-burning fireplaces, expansive screened windows, sliding glass entrances, generous indoor and outdoor dining spaces, fire-pit areas, and spacious bathrooms complete with a shower and modern flushing toilet.
