Skillogalee Estate Experiences
At the heart of the Clare Valley lies Skillogalee Estate, a property where wine, food and hospitality come together. Established in 1970, the estate has long welcomed guests with a warm and personal experience that connects directly to the vineyard and the landscape.
Skillogalee wines are crafted from dry-grown, single-estate vineyards that trace the natural contours of ancient dolomite soils. Vineyard management is hands-on and sustainable, encouraging biodiversity and minimal intervention. Of the 170-hectare property, 50 are under vine, almost half Riesling, producing wines that express the purity and structure of the Clare Valley.
Guests are invited to taste at the cellar door, discovering the stories behind each vintage while sampling Estate, Small Batch and Trevarrick wines. The experience can continue on the veranda, where a glass of wine may be enjoyed overlooking the vines.
The restaurant showcases fresh regional ingredients alongside produce grown on the estate. The menu evolves with the seasons, focusing on simplicity, quality and connection to place. Guests can enjoy long lunches with vineyard views, relaxed dining on the veranda or special occasions paired with Skillogalee wines.
Open year-round, Skillogalee invites guests to connect with the land, the people and the wines of the Clare Valley. Just one hour and forty-five minutes north of Adelaide, the estate offers an authentic, immersive experience that reflects the heritage and craft of small-batch winemaking.
