St. Helen’s Cottages is under new ownership/management and look forward to making improvements throughout the property for you to love and enjoy.
Spread over four acres, St. Helen’s consists of five delightful, self-contained cottages. Placed just south of the township of Clare and walking distance from several wineries and right on the Riesling Trail. Enjoy the delightful rural atmosphere and de-stress. Perfect for romantic interludes and short getaways. Watch the sunset from your cottage.
‘The Vines’ is a two bedroom, two bathroom cottage set right in the vineyard where the grapes of your complimentary bottle of wine is grown. ‘The Coach House’ is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage. ‘Fettler’s Cottage’, ‘The Pavilion’ and ‘The Studio’ are one bedroom romantic cottages, perfect for that romantic weekend getaway.
The Coach House, Fettler’s Cottage, The Pavilion & The Vines all have spa baths, The Studio has a regular bath in a very spacious bathroom. All cottages have wood fires and are situated alongside the Riesling Trail; walking, cycling and running track.
The cottages are set in beautiful gardens and natural bushland and well spaced from each other ensuring your privacy. Enjoy one of the two gazebos, petanque court or cricket pitch if you wish to have a barbeque or gathering.

The Coach House

For couples wishing to book the Coach House, please note:
The amenities in Fettler’s Cottage and The Pavilion are the same as The Coach House (two-bedroom cottage). They ask that a couple only book The Coach House if the other cottages are no longer available or you require two bedrooms. They charge an AUD20 fee for use of both bedrooms when only two people stay.
The Fettler's Cottage
This delightful one bedroom cottage is just gorgeous. With a lovely view from your back deck through the trees to the Riesling Trail, relax with a glass of wine and a cheese platter, just watch the world go by. Watch and listen to the magnificent birdlife. Cook your breakfast in the gazebo just outside your cottage.
Fettler’s Cottage is just walking distance to wineries, a bakery and a short drive to leading restaurants.
The Pavilion
Nestled into the base of a small hill, overlooking mature trees, the vineyard and located on the Riesling Trail this secluded cottage for two is the perfect romantic hideaway.
Decorated in the cricket theme and an elegant, old world look, the pavilion is just moments from the cycling and walking trail. Relax on your balcony watching the birds or ride the trail to wineries and restaurants. Made for honeymooners or those wanting a romantic retreat.

The Vines
Overlooking the St. Helen’s Vineyard and Riesling Trail, the comfortable and relaxing ‘The Vines’ will delight you.

An AUD50 fee is charged for use of both bedrooms and both bathrooms when only two people stay.

A newly renovated one bedroom cottage located alongside the famous Riesling trail, offering a fully equipped kitchen, open plan living/dining area and spacious bathroom.
Relax in the private courtyard with a wine or two while watching the world go by. A few minutes walk to wineries and bike hire.
