Slow things down and settle into your practice with Slow Sketch Sunday, a relaxed life drawing session designed for artists who want time, space, and flow.
Hosted at one of Canberra’s favourite neighbourhood bars, this two-hour afternoon session begins with a small number of short warm-up poses before easing into longer, more considered poses of 20–30 minutes. It’s the perfect opportunity to observe deeply, build form, and enjoy a slower creative rhythm.
Expect a welcoming, low-pressure atmosphere with breaks for drinks, food, conversation, and sharing work. Drawing materials can be supplied, or artists are welcome to bring their own tools and preferred mediums. Open to all experience levels, from curious beginners to established artists.
