This community-driven project was created by Street Art Murals Australia (SAMA) in partnership with the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre and University of Western Sydney.
It sees Katoomba’s Beverly Place precinct transformed with larger-than-life murals from some of Australia’s, and the world’s, most talented street artists. It’s a constantly evolving streetscape with works by the likes of Melbourne-based Matt Adnate, known for his graffiti portraits of global Indigenous peoples.
Blue Mountains local Mandy Schöne-Salter also has a number of pieces on display, including a floral explosion as well as paste-ups of people. Bring your camera for photo ops in front of enormous butterflies, waterfalls, oversized apes and prehistoric lizards.
