They begin their dining tour in Surry Hills Toei, a Korean / Japanese restaurant discretely located on Campbell Street. Positioned on a tree-lined street featuring grand Victorian terraces dressed in filigree. With cuisines from Italy, France and the Mediterranean they are spoiled for choice in this part of inner-city Sydney.
The main streets of this precinct are a mix of commercial and residential buildings. Elegantly restored pubs stand next to on-trend cafes with street seating and restaurants with secret lush courtyards hidden outback. Favoured by professional creatives and locals for breakfast, lunch and dinner there is always a new special or cocktail to discover. There’s a relaxed vibe with fabulous fashion and interior store windows competing for your eye as you stroll down Crown Street taking in the scene.

The Sydney Connection
The Sydney Connection curates private dining walks around their favourite inner-city precincts of Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and Potts Point.
Accompanied by either Maree, the Chief Guide or one of their well-connected local guides, the walks are aimed at visitors and Sydneysiders who want to go where the locals go for inspiring food, good service and cool interiors.
They take bookings for between two to ten guests per walk, visit four venues, and enjoy a different course at each venue accompanied by matching wine.
Maree is a Potts Point local with a great network of bars and restaurants she visits regularly. Maree has gradually built up her knowledge and fruitful relationships with the restaurateurs of inner-city Sydney through her keen interest in walking, talking and eating. Enabling her to create VIP experiences for her guests.
