During this tour, your guide will tell you about the significance of these bats (also known as flying foxes) and explain why they are endangered, sharing loads of interesting facts.
Whilst you meet these critters at eye level, you’ll also have the opportunity to borrow the high-zoom cameras and capture the smallest detail.

Encounter with flying fox
Explore the Sydney reserve where this majestic bat colony resides. You will learn all about the endemic fruit bat (also know as flying foxes), its importance and why they are endangered.
Your tour guide will share some interesting and quirky facts e.g. their wings can span over 1 meter of width.
Enjoy meeting these Ozzie critters almost at eye-level. You’ll also have the opportunity to use our high-zoom cameras and capture the smallest detail on film. These photos will be shared with you at no charge after the trip.
