Overlooking the stunning Georges Bay on the northeast coast of Tasmania, Tasman Holiday Parks – St Helens opened in October 2018.
It’s just minutes from the breathtaking Bay of Fires and only a two-hour drive from Launceston.

Bay View Cabins
Set overlooking Georges Bay with uninterrupted ocean views, our Bay View Cabins feature two bedrooms with one queen bed and a set of bunk beds. Enjoy reverse cycle air-conditioning, a full kitchen featuring dishwasher, oven and kitchen utensils. A sleek modern bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash for your convenience. Dining and lounge area overlooking the beautiful Georges Bay with a veranda and outdoor setting.
Bay Breeze Cabin
Bay Breeze Cabins are set back from the bay, featuring two bedrooms that sleep 2 in their studio versions and up to 6 in their six berth Bay Breeze Cabins. Fully self contained cabins with everything you need to enjoy a short stay or a longer getaway.
Park View Cabins
Park View Cabins are set to lookout over the park and are centrally located near the reception area, bar and restaurant area and children’s playground. Perfectly positioned for complete enjoyment of park facilities. The two bedroom cabins feature all modern facilities you’ve come to expect including kitchen and ensuite.
Bungalow – Sleeps 4
Tasman Holiday Park – St Helens have an array of different styles of Bungalows to suit each traveler. Our bunkhouse Bungalow – Sleeps 4 is ideal for groups of friends. Featuring 2 sets of single bunk beds with heating, mini fridge, smart tv and small dining table.
Please note, amenities for our Bungalows are shared camp amenities.
Powered Site
Whether or not you have a caravan, camper, motor home or tent there is a spacious powered grassed site for you to set up and enjoy at St Helens Waterfront Holiday Park.
Powered Ensuite Site
You don’t have to forego creature comforts while you’re camping! Enjoy your own private bathroom next time you camp, take your caravan out or camper trailer on one of the Powered Ensuite Sites.
Centrally located in the park close to amenities and camp kitchen facility, these powered grass sites have their own private bathrooms. Suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents.
Bay View Villa
Our brand new modern villas boast an enviable position, perched at the top of our park, overlooking stunning George’s Bay. The open plan living/kitchen area features a couch, TV, bar fridge, reverse cycle air-con, and a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, and two burner electric stove. The bedroom features a modern ensuite and Queen bed. Our villas are perfect for a couples retreat or midweek getaway.

Physical – Wheelchair
Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
- Step free outdoor pathways (includes picnic areas, barbecues and shelters)
- A step free main entrance to the building and/or reception area (includes ramps or slopes with a maximum gradient of 1:14, otherwise are too steep for wheelchairs)
- Step free access to restaurant, lounge and bar
- Doorways which are easy to open and have lever handles (doorways 850mm or wider when open and not heavy).
- An accessible public toilet which is unlocked.
- A wheelchair accessible toilet / shower and change room is available.
- At least one wheelchair accessible parking space with wheelchair accessible signage clearly displayed (International standards are 3200mm wide x 2500 mm high).
- Enough space for a wheelchair to move around three sides of a double king sized bed (A pathway of 1200mm minimum width is required for wheelchair access).
- A kitchen area and desk which is accessible for a person at seated height or is height adjustable.
- A wheelchair accessible bathroom (Entrance to bathroom must have step free greater than 5mm or a doorway threshold ramp not exceeding 1:8 for 450mm. Bathrooms dimensions must be no less than 2000mm X 2500mm. Have a hobless (step free) shower recess. Shower recess must have at least 1100 x 1100mm clear area for wheelchair access (no door). Have a slip resistant fold down seat or fixed seat in shower .Seat must be at least 900mm long.).
