Elderton Wines – Wine and Tennis Experiences
Elderton Wines is in situated the Barossa Valley ‘Australia’s Global Wine and Food Region’ just one hour’s drive from Adelaide. Since 1980, the Ashmead family have molded Elderton into an iconic Australian winery, working to over-deliver on terroir-driven wines of distinction, placing Elderton amongst Australia’s elite producers of wine.
Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the Elderton experience as soon as they arrive – our driveway allows guests to meander through the 125 year old Command vineyard, giving the ultimate discovery of one of the Barossa’s greatest assets.
The Elderton Cellar Door is the sensitively restored former Ashmead family homestead. With five tasting rooms/spaces, Cellar Door can accommodate between 2 – 75 guests both in private and group settings. The interior is complemented by landscaped gardens, swimming pool, grass tennis court, lawns for croquet/petanque, outdoor dining areas and a helipad. Perhaps most impressive is the 1500 glass bottle cellar that displays every Elderton vintage alongside a full collection of Jimmy Watson award-winning wines.
It is in this luxurious Cellar Door setting that we welcome visitors to enjoy authentic food and wine experiences, developed specifically to honor the distinctive provenance of the Barossa.
