The Cottage at Blue Door Farm is a unique, fully off-grid strawbale cottage, and it’s so much more than just a place to stay… it’s an experience like no other!
Being in a strawbale building has been likened to being embraced by the building, it truly is a special feeling that is best felt not described.
This unique, cozy strawbale cottage, cleverly built from mostly recycled materials, is highly efficient with thick, heavily insulated walls and ceilings. Perfect for those looking to experience the joy of off-grid, sustainable living.
The cottage features the creature comforts of modern appliances combined with old-style, farmhouse charm. This uniquely quaint place offers you an ideal location to relax, recharge and enjoy. You can already envision yourself sat by the pot belly fire with a nice glass of red wine!
Located in Currency Creek on the Fleurieu Peninsula, surrounded by world-renowned wine regions, natural wonders, gorgeous towns and so much to see and do! By car, the property is less than 10 minutes to Goolwa Beach and Middleton, 15 minutes to Port Elliot and 20 minutes to Victor Harbor. 30 minutes to McLaren Vale and 25 minutes to Strathalbyn.
