Everything at The Grand National Hotel reflects the philosophy of the multi-award-winning restaurant below it, Saint Peter – the emphasis is on sustainability, hospitality and quality

The boutique hotel, which is 14 rooms with each hosting one to two people, is designed by Studio Aquilo so each room brings a different character while all matching the historical and cultural nature of the area. Plus, each room has some subtle hints at the menu downstairs – ceramics made from fishbones, soap made with fish fat and more. Of course, one of the highlights is the breakfast service, a multiple course affair featuring anything from marron and scrambled eggs to a seasonal fruit platter and handmade pastries.
