The Herald Sun Aria, established in 1924, is Australia’s oldest and most prestigious competition for emerging classical singers.
Recognised nationally as a leading platform for rising opera talent, the Aria awards many prizes to support the development of outstanding performers. The competition is open to singers aged 19 to 36 years, attracting some of the country’s finest emerging voices.
