Every school holidays they run three-day surfing programs. These programs are lots of fun and very rewarding. So if you are a first timer or a skilled surfer looking to improve your skill and technique, then this is the place to be. They cover the basics of reading a wave, positioning, identifying rips, surf safety and surfing rules.
Pines Surfing Academy has built a solid reputation for providing fun and enjoyable classes. All instructors are accredited and hold their bronze medallion, senior first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Also, all staff are Police Checked and ‘Working with Children’ approved by the Department of Sports and Recreation New South Wales.
Three days, two hours each day. Every student will receive a free gift.

Pines Surfing Academy
Pines Surfing Academy is one of the Illawarra region’s top surf schools. It offers a range of lessons and camps, including private lessons, group lessons, holiday programs, surf trips and more. Surf lessons are held at Wollongong, Shellharbour and The Farm (Killalea State Park).
Pine Surfing Academy has friendly, professional instructors highly trained in water safety and awareness, wave etiquette, board positioning and wave knowledge who will encourage and guide you through your surfing progression.
