Tio’s has been shaking margaritas and pouring cold beers in Surry Hills since 2011, earning a reputation as Sydney’s tequila headquarters. More than 100,000 margaritas later, it’s still the go-to for students, locals and agave lovers chasing good drinks and a good time.
The bar’s famously colourful fit-out mixes religious kitsch with party-bar energy, and every round comes with a freshly-popped bag of Old El Paso-inspired seasoned popcorn. Expect Mexican beers, agave spirits, and a delicious frozen margarita special that changes each month.
