Tranquil Point offers homestead-style accommodation set on 3.5 acres of stunning headland, nestled in Tasmania’s picturesque Huon Valley on the magnificent waters of Deep Bay. Located just a one-hour drive south of Hobart’s International Airport and eight minutes from Cygnet, it provides a peaceful and easily accessible coastal escape.

The homestead accommodates up to 15 guests across six light-filled and comfortable guest rooms. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and three shared bathrooms, creating a relaxed and communal environment ideal for groups.

Tranquil Point caters to family getaways, retreats, training courses, corporate and leadership groups, as well as private gatherings. With sweeping 270-degree ocean views, fresh clean air, and the breathtaking backdrop of Hartz Mountains National Park, it offers a setting designed for connection, focus and renewal.

Guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the property, including hidden bays and tranquil beaches just moments away. The peaceful surroundings provide the perfect opportunity to unwind without the distractions of everyday life.

Sustainability is at the heart of Tranquil Point. The property generates its own solar power and utilises rainwater throughout. An organic vegetable garden and small apricot orchard are available for guests to enjoy, offering a simple, seasonal connection to the land.

The Homestead has seven double bedrooms. Each bedroom contains beautiful locally hand-crafted furniture made from native Tasmanian timber. The cosy soft linen and doonas are also handmade locally.
Several rooms have balconies and six rooms have views of the ocean.
