The iconic Wynyard Tulip Festival is on each Spring! The annual festival is now a feature event in the Spring Loaded Program, a month of fun that celebrates all that is spectacular and charming about Waratah-Wynyard including the blooming tulips on Table Cape.

In 2025 the festival is down to earth with connections to local culture and the season! As always there will be a full packed entertainment schedule of performance artists roving the garden and on the main stage. There is also a street full of food vans!

The Festival is a one-day feast for all the senses smell, sight, sound, and taste.

Set on the banks of the Inglis River, Gutteridge Gardens comes to life with live music all day, the best local produce and talented makers from around Tasmania. Featuring children’s entertainment and displays from community groups, and ending the fabulous day with a fireworks display at 9 pm.

The festival is the key attraction in a month-long calendar of events coordinated by the Waratah-Wynyard Council called Spring Loaded. Check the Council’s website for details of the program.
