Vin Smith was a widely respected machinery dealer, woodturning teacher and passionate collector of antique machines and their history. His collection of hand and foot powered woodworking machines were used by craftsmen prior to the advent of electrically powered machines.
The collection includes an incredible array of saws, lathes, mitres, drills, planes and chisels; some over 100 years old. The exhibition is free for visitors to the Geeveston Town Hall.
