Classic Car Hire
Bertie, Keith’s 1964 MGB and Penelope, his 1968 E type 4.2 have manual gearboxes. The original MGB four-speed gearbox is as good as modern gearboxes. His E type has been upgraded to a modern Toyota gearbox. Both seat two, including the driver and have excellent hoods which don’t leak – too much!
Reggie and Rock have automatic gearboxes and power steering. They can both seat five including the driver. Reggie, Keith’s 1962 Jaguar MK2 3.8 litre is very comfortable with armchair seating in the front and cute picnic tables for the rear seat passengers. Rocky, his 1967 Mustang Convertible has a power operated hood and a sound to die for from that enormous V8!
All cars are easy to drive.
