Nowra Showgrounds is situated above the picturesque Shoalhaven River, offering magnificent views to the West and convenient walking access to Nowra Town Centre.
Individual campsites remain unmarked and unallocated, and visitors are encouraged to consider their fellow campers when selecting their spot within the designated zone. For those arriving with oversized or tall vehicles, it is advisable to utilize the Scenic Drive entrance.
Powered sites may necessitate an extended power lead, and essential amenities such as toilets and showers are available onsite. Vehicle gates are secured at sunset and reopened at sunrise each day, while pedestrian gates remain accessible 24 hours a day.
Visitors should take note that tent camping and sleeping in vehicles are not permitted at Nowra Showground. The Showgrounds are subject to regular patrols by Council Rangers and security personnel.
Nowra Showgrounds welcomes dogs but emphasizes the importance of keeping pets under control at all times. Additionally, the facility offers stables for booking for those with horses or cattle.
Lastly, it is essential to adhere to the strict “no fires” policy while on the premises.
