Our Cooperage experience begins with a short introduction of the winery and our family owners the Hill-Smiths.
Enjoy a rare insight into the craft of wine barrel making, a tradition that has been happening at Yalumba for over 100 years.
Depending on the time of year you may see firsthand the Coopers hard at work preparing or maintaining wine barrels for Yalumba’s fine wines*.
Return to our Wine Room for a tasting with our Ambassador of five wines from the portfolio, featuring varieties iconic to both Yalumba and Barossa.
Children will instead receive a Yalumba Colouring Pack and Trevallie Orchard treat.

Yalumba Family Winemakers Experiences
Established in 1849, Yalumba is Australia’s most historic family owned wine company. It remains fiercely independent and extremely progressive through the generational ownership by the Hill-Smith family.
Yalumba’s longevity an success is a result of patience, collaboration and progressive thinking. There is foresight to embrace the natural terroir to craft wines with individual character and a sense of purpose, a spirit to reinvest in the land upon which it operates and knowledge to behave as a leader in the industry.
