Itinerary highlights
Adelaide
Set in the middle of a tree-covered plain, resting between the rolling Adelaide Hills in the east to the long, white sandy beaches in the west, Adelaide is quickly becoming the lifestyle capital of Australia.
From the superb architecture and cultural boulevards of North Terrace and North Adelaide, to the pretty parklands surrounding the city, including the Botanic Gardens, there is something for everyone to admire.
Adelaide Oval
Adelaide Oval has hosted both cricket and football at the highest level since Colonial times and its iconic, historic and cultural presence remains today.
Located in the parklands between the city centre and North Adelaide, Adelaide Oval underwent a $500+ million redevelopment between 2011 and 2014. It has been described now by one sports journalist as “the most perfect piece of modern architecture because it’s a thoroughly contemporary stadium with all the character that it’s had in the past”.
