The Bishopsbourne Recreation ground has a playground and is popular as an overnight camping spot for self-contained vans and motorhomes (limit 48 hours, free, permit required from NMC website). There is an interesting interpretation panel sharing the local history of Bishopsbourne, a project of the local historian, Ivan Badcock and Andrew Badcock, and community.
