The Renmark Paringa Community Museum is set in a landscaped native garden, on the banks of the Murray River and features a range of vintage farm machinery, implements, sheds, tools and static displays. Many of the pieces have been sourced from local businesses, showcasing the evolvement of the various industries that have made Renmark and Paringa the towns they are today.

Their collection of historical steam engines, many in working order, is impressive and there’s always a renewal project underway and new exhibits to look at.

A great venue for families to wander and experience bygone times. Children’s attractions include a pirate boat to play on and the museum also has a Children’s University Quiz to complete. There is a sheltered picnic area available onsite to enjoy a picnic. The museum is volunteer driven and members are always willing to answer questions or take you on a tour of the site.
