Bruny Island Explorers Cabins offer self-contained accommodation at Lunawanna, South Bruny Island. Bruny Island is located off the south east coast of Tasmania and is accessed by a 15-minute vehicle ferry from Kettering, a 30-minute drive south of Hobart (32 kilometres).
The property has six cabins overlooking Daniel’s Bay, on the west coast of South Bruny Island. Each two-bedroom cabin accommodates up to four guests in one queen and two single beds. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, sun deck, communal barbecue area and heat pump/ air-conditioning. There is also a boat ramp nearby and ample parking for cars, boats and trailers.
From Bruny Island Explorers Cabins, you can take a short drive south to visit the Cape Bruny Lighthouse – one of the oldest in Australia. Board a charter cruise to see the Island’s towering sea cliffs, or visit South Bruny National Park to explore rainforest and coastal heathlands, mountains and wonderful coastal scenery.
