Hidden by the sea, Darwin’s shipwrecks represent one of Australia’s largest heritage sites. There is a world of ocean graves and twisted metal which exists below the surface.
Professional guides will give you the lowdown and history of the sunken warships bombed by the Japanese planes in 1942 during WWII. Fishing trawlers are also scattered on the Seabed of Port Darwin buried by the ferocious waters created by cyclone Tracey in 1974.
