An initiative of the Bermagui Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, the Bermagui Heritage Trail is a self-guided walk/drive trail that extends over 17 kilometres from Wallaga Lake north of Bermagui to Cuttagee Beach to the south.
It highlights 12 people and places of historical significance in Bermagui and surrounding areas – Michael Lerner Lookout, Cuttagee Timber Mill, The Blue Pool, Zane Grey, Bermagui Steamer Wharf, Sam Sinclair, Bruce Steer Pool, the old Government Wharf, Bermagui Fishermen’s Co-Operative, the old race course and airstrip, Tilba Road and Payne’s Island.

An extension of the trail with an additional 10 sites is planned to be completed soon.
