The Great Barrier Reef is the largest tropical coral reef system in the world. It comprises about 2,900 separate reefs off the coasts of the islands and the mainland, and barrier reefs facing the sea. John and Lynne have dived almost half its’ length and have chosen the most spectacular locations for you to explore.
Lynne is always in the crystal clear water to guide you, ensuring all the best corals and fish are observed at close quarters, and to inform the names of the fish and corals that you are viewing. John is always nearby in the “glass-bottomed” catamaran dive tender so “non swimming” guests can view the magnificent fish and corals.

See the very best of the Whitsunday’s in luxury, style and comfort on a 7 day / 6 night adventure on a 60 ft stable and spacious luxury sailing yacht from Hamilton Island Marina with only a small group of like minded guests. Guests can book a cabin and join other like minded guests or privately charter. Visit the outer reef (weather permitting) the famous Whitehaven Beach, fabulous snorkeling locations where Lynne will personally guide you over spectacular corals and fish life explaining all before you , and wonderful island walks . If tidal conditions are right, join guests on an intriguing and fascinating reef walk guided by your personal guide with over 40 years of reef walking experience . Cruise around calm bays in one of the yachts’ kayaks, laze on deck with cocktail in hand, or hoist the sails and peacefully sail to the next location. Stand on the bow of the yacht watching dolphins swim happily as we sail or watch for a humpback whale leaping out of the ocean…what an amazing and unforgettable sight to see!What an extraordinary holiday to remember!
Spectacular Snorkelling and Scuba
Because there are few guests aboard they have a very exclusive experience each time they enjoy a snorkelling expedition. We are often in areas where we are the only people enjoying the amazing corals. Lynne is always in the water with our guests ensuriing that not only they are safe and confident but are understanding all the sights they witness. John is always in the tender alongside so that if any guests wish to leave the water they only have a couple of meteres to swim to the tender. This gives our guests enormous confidence if they are new to snorkelling or are nervous . If guests have never snorkelled before Lynne will hold their hand if necessary or tow them on a life bouy so thay feel confident. In no time their snorkelling abilities amaze them!!

Whitsunday Luxury Sailing Holidays
Expedition voyages for discerning explorers departing from Hamilton Island. Learn about the Great Barrier Reef ecology from friendly owners, Lynne and John Boyce, who for over 30 years’ have welcomed guests and personally introduced them to this water wonderland. Luxury Yachting is a High Standard Tourism Operator (GBRMPA) and EcoTourism Australia qualified to ensure minimum human impact.
A glass bottomed dive tender with a deep ladder ensures ease of access to / from the water on snorkelling excursions. Each snorkelling expedition is personally led by Lynne who is a qualified Master Reef Guide. She will ensure your experience of the magical underwater world is complete by providing up to date information on the Reef, sharing stories of the World Heritage Area and explaining what you can do to make a difference.
Enjoy healthy gourmet meals and fine wines aboard Australia’s most awarded charter yacht, Sydney Sundancer, which is licensed to carry more than 50 day guests. With spacious decks and weighing 37 tons, she is not only luxurious but incredibly stable. Just imagine the comfort factor when individual cabin bookings are limited to a maximum of four guests, or 8 for private charter. Children are very welcome, but only for private charter.
