Rock Lily is a sustainably managed 100-acre bush block property in Brogo in the Bega Valley in New South Wales.
This bush getaway includes a one-bedroom mud-brick cottage suited to couples wanting a getaway from the rush of the city and a larger mud-brick cottage suited to couples, weekends away, or family groups of up to six people. Both cottages are self-catering with breakfast basics supplied by your hosts and are dog-friendly with fenced and gated yards.
Located in the centre of the Bega Valley, Rock Lily’s visitors have easy access to the best of the Sapphire Coast’s attractions including fine food, bushwalking, mountain biking, kayaking, lake and ocean fishing, pristine beaches, a rich First Nations history, and some of the best whale watching in the world. From Narooma to the north to Eden in the south, nothing is more than an hour away.
Around two thirds of the covered is protected by Brogo Vine Forest; an endangered ecological community sheltering rich biodiversity. It is a haven for birdwatching with over 100 bird species, wildlife photography where you can get great pictures of animals in their natural habitat, and bushwalking on the peaceful forest trail.
Rock Lily has some of the darkest skies in Australia with no light pollution, and is an ideal location for stargazing and astrophotography that will reveal the galaxy’s deepest secrets!
