Itinerary highlights

Battery Point Architecture

Wonderfully preserved Georgian, Victorian and Federation architecture. The oldest residential precinct in Australia and Hobart’s first residential area. Hobart’s first Gun Battery in Prince’s Park, Australia’s only Circus and historically important streetscapes wherever you look. Battery Point was home to rich merchants and drunken shipyard workers. Unique in Australia, we find a mansion next to a tiny worker’s cottage. Now mostly privately owned homes, this area is Tasmania’s jewel in the crown.

Heritage Horse Drawn Carriages

Experience the romance of a bygone era by taking a leisurely carriage ride through the unique historic areas of Battery Point, Hobart Waterfront and Salamanca Place.

The carriage tours immerse you in the colonial past of Hobart. Drawn by two beautiful horses, the carriage is a stunning replica of 19th century vis a vis (face to face) carriage.

Feel like royalty travelling with the top down, enjoying the sunshine or close the top in inclement weather and still enjoy the sights. Your driver and groom are also dressed in 19th-century livery to complete the picture.

What is more special than to treat your loved one to a romantic carriage ride, complete with champagne and chocolates? They can work with you to make your first date, proposal or wedding anniversary a truly memorable occasion. In fact, whatever the occasion, they can be there.

Weddings are a specialty and they can promise you a truly wonderful addition to the best day of your life. They will work with you every step of the way to ensure the finer details are just perfect.
