Start your morning in true Maggie Island style with our Breakfast With the Koalas experience — a relaxed, nature-filled start to the day hosted by our passionate ranger team. This intimate encounter brings you up close with a range of Australian wildlife, including several of our resident koalas, wombats, reptiles and other native species that call our park home.
This interactive morning is designed around education, sustainability and genuine connection. Our rangers share personal stories, conservation insights and behind-the-scenes knowledge about the care, rescue and protection of Australian wildlife. It’s a chance to slow down, learn something new and experience the island’s natural world in a meaningful, memorable way.
Your cooked breakfast is served outdoors beneath native trees in an outback-style bush setting, creating a peaceful backdrop as wildlife moves around you. It’s the perfect combination of good food, fresh air and unforgettable wildlife moments — a signature Bounce Magnetic Island experience.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the experience at the Reception Deck (8:15am). Your ranger will collect you at 8:30am sharp to begin your Aussie breakfast adventure.

Bounce Magnetic Island Wildlife Experience
Koala and wildlife park, Bounce Magnetic Island.
Step into the wild side of Maggie at the onsite koala and wildlife park, the perfect mix of island vibes, close up wildlife encounters and memorable conservation stories.
Set among tropical gardens right beside Bounce, the park lets guests connect with Australia’s most iconic animals in a fun, personal and ethical way. Daily ranger tours.
Join the rangers for small, relaxed wildlife tours where you’ll meet Magnetic Island’s famous koalas, laid back turtles, slithery pythons, chunky wombats, curious lizards, and the crowd favourite, baby crocs.
Expect local stories, conservation insights and plenty of island charm along the way. Breakfast with the koalas. Start your morning the Maggie way, with breakfast surrounded by koalas.
Enjoy a relaxed alfresco meal while the rangers introduce you to the park’s furry residents. It’s the perfect slow morning moment for wildlife lovers and one of Bounce Magnetic Island’s signature experiences.
