Located in spectacular Tathra, Chamberlain Lookout offers stunning views of Kianinny Bay, Bournda National Park and out to the mighty Pacific.
It is a wonderful spot for whale-watching in the spring when thousands of humpback whales travel south along the Sapphire Coast on their way to Antarctica.
Enjoy a picnic with spectacular views, or wander down to Kianinny Bay where you can dive off the boat ramp and swim in the bay’s pristine waters.
You can walk to Chamberlain lookout from Tathra Headland along the 1.8-kilometre (one-way) walking track, known as the Tathra Coastline Walk.
Kianinny Bay offers access to Bournda National Park and the nine-kilometre Kangarutha walking track to Wallagoot.
From the lookout, keep your eyes peeled for Kianinny Bay’s resident stingrays, some of Tathra’s best known locals. Echidnas, lizards and sea eagles are also regular visitors.
